How do I re-pay a “Family Loan”, since I have a “No Contact Injunction” on that Family Member?
Question by Scatter: How do I re-pay a “Family Loan”, since I have a “No Contact Injunction” on that Family Member?
I have a “No Contact” order against a Parent. This is for reasons to protect me & my family. I owe this parent some money, and since I am not supposed to have any contact with them as well, what would be the best way to repay this parent? I would still need to put my name on the money order, and still be credited on that account I owe. If any person that might have some experience with Family Law, or Family Money Management, I would like to hear from you. Thanks!!

send the money order in the mail. Or have a friend do it

In some instances, even if you have a friend drop of a money order or something to the parent that there is a no contact order…well, you are contacting them thru the friend by having the friend serve as a mediatory. You might want to consider having somethign legal set up through the courts to pay back the parent. OR you may want to consider setting aside money out of every paycheck, then when the no contact order expires, you can give a lump some.
WIth the “no contact order”, it sounds like that parent isnt supposed to contact you or your family. It doesnt sound like the parent has placed a “no contact order” against you. If that is the case, you can just send you pmnt through the mail, and then when they deposit the payment into their checking account, your canceled check would serve as the receipt.
