Question by KINDNESS4WEAKNESS: I live in California.Can my landlord come in my house with insurance guy and take pictures?
I have lived here for 2 years.
I dont have a problem with the checking of there home.I want to know what is the picture deal ? Please if someone can answer that.

    he needs to give tyou 24 hours notice, unless its an emergency and he CANNOT take pics of personal property

    Yes, Your landlord can have 100% access to HIS home with 24 hours notice. No notice is needed for an emergency.

    He can if he needs to find something for evidence, I would suggest doing the same.

    He is either buying new insurance or filing a claim for the house. The pictures are for the insurance company to document what he is insuring/claiming.

    The house is not yours, it is his. In CA he has every right to do this, it does not have to be in the lease.

    He has to give you 24 hours NOTICE, not obtain your permission.

    Hi,
    The owner of the property has every right to come in a take any pictures they like as long as they gave you the proper notice, and it doesn’t involve you in any compromising positions! ; )
