What is the maximum amount of credit cards a person can have?
Is there a limit to the number of credit cards someone can have? For example, if I already have a VISA card, am I not allowed to have another one?

as many as you want
IT DOSEN’T MATTER ITS AN ULMTED AMOUNT! JUST DONT GET WHAT YOU CANT PAY 4!
I think it’s unlimited. Those cred. cos. want people to get into a much credit that they can.
You can have as many as issuers are willing to give you. I have 2 Visas, 3 Mastercards and 1 Amex
as many as you want if you have money…………
There is no limit. If the creditors keep accepting your application, then they’ll keep issuing credit cards. I’ve seen several news stories with people that collect credit cards. They’ll have a whole wall of cards they never intend to use. They do it more as a hobby. The numbers are in the hundreds.
Not only can you have multiple VISA cards, you may end up with multiple ones from the same bank!
No limit. The more open credit you have vs. the least you use it helps your FICO score.
John R is correct BUT to many cards will tell a creditor that you could be having a problem paying you bills. I have 5 and two debit cards, I have two different checking accounts that I use for every day purchases.
