By paying those on time, and the key is…. it takes some time. Those two loans will build it up
you are all ready making history — just insure that all payments are made on time and in full!!!
If those loans are with a creditor who uses one of the credit reporting services, paying them will help build your credit score. Otherwise it will not.
Yet failing to pay them would likely hurt your credit.
Instead of concerning yourself about increasing your credit score directly, build up your bank savings account and go on to own a few bonds that give you financial stability. Instead of living on credit, build your assets so that you can live without credit. When you want to buy a house, having a good job, no debts, a clean credit record, good down payment, that will persuade most lenders to lend to you.
But if you do your asset building in your local credit union or caise populaire, the credit managers there will see you as one of their bosses, and a good one at that.
Your car loan and a personal loan is already building up your credit. It takes time. If you can try to pay earlier and pay more than what your suppose to.
That comment on your report is just giving you reasons why your credit isnt as high as it can be. It doesnt mean you have bad credit. Its like advice they give you everytime your CR refreshes. The best way to improve your credit is to get a credit card, its shows that you are able to finance money on a revolving account, in which that has no permanent payment amount, it revolves depending how much you put on it. If you dont want to apply for a creditcard, then you must remain patient. You can always get a start card with a low limit and work your way up.
Goodluck:)
Just by paying what you have on time. But I would suggest at some time in the near future to just get one card for overall needs, that a car loan and a personal loan can’t do. Unlike debit card that you can pay bills and purchase things online, a secured/unsecured credit card can help you build credit by paying your bills on time, this is also the other piece of the puzzle in building different lines of credit, ie: car loan, personal loan, home loan/mortgage, credit cards, department store card/gas card. These are some of the types of credit the look at when you look at making a larger purchase like a home. So, for now keep on paying your bills on time. And look into getting a credit card later.
Good luck…….
Revolving accounts are credit cards. Without having at least one or two credit cards you are going to have a tough time building a good credit score.
