How does someone get insurance to go overseas for medical care?

Many people go out of the UK for dental treatment or other surgery.
But all travel insurance won’t cover the trip if this is the reason
Insurance is not needed for the operation as that is paid for.
Insurance is needed if anything else happens – EG road accident

You don’t get insurance to cover it – the whole POINT of going overseas, is faster, better, cheaper medical care – on a CASH BASIS.

Leaving the country for medical care, is only for the rich.

Google “travel insurance.” That’s what you’re asking for.

You just get travel insurance. As long as you’re not expecting the surgery, etc.. to be covered you’re fine.

Whatever your reasons for going abroad, you may be entitled to medical care at reduced cost or sometimes free. Your entitlement will vary based on whether you’re going to an European Economic Area country (EEA) or elsewhere in the world
