Who does one contact regarding cancelling multiple credit cards in case of theft or death?

Years ago there were several centralized credit watch agencies that could be contacted to update regarding theft of multiple cards and or death. I am updating some of my legal stuff and wanted to get this information gathered. Thanks

    That is a Premium service that they charge for. You would have to sign up with them for that. Otherwise you have to contact each CC company individually.

    That is a service that one must purchase. The most reliable way is to contact each creditor individually, IN WRITING NOT EMAIL OR PHONE CALL, and take the appropriate action.

    Also notify the 3 major credit bureaus, again IN WRITING.

    Okay, here we go. Aside from the companies individual;
    File a police report
    Report Theft to the Federal Trade commission
    Close accounts
    Place “Fraud Alert” on your credit reports
