I am in the market for excellent liability insurance as a cpt. I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest but the most sufficient available. Thanks in advance.

My fiance is a golf pro/instructor and I am his assistant, so I handle all his business, insurance etc. If you are a self employed trainer there are a couple of different options for you. If you are a homeowner you can check to see if there is a liability rider that you can add on to your policy..I know a few phsical trainers that have their insurance that way. The other is to find an insurnace co that will insure individuals, and there’s not a lot to choose from. We got our policy from Sadler Sports http://www.sadlersports.com. They insure all kinds of individual sports and physical type professionals, and they have different liability options to meet the requirements of any facilities where you might be working. Hope this helps you!

Well, you’re going to have a hard time getting it, period!! You’ll need to contact a local, independent agent who is licensed to sell insurance in your state, fill out an application complete with professional resume, and see if he can get more than one or two quotes, so you can compare coverages and costs.

I’d expect it to cost a minimum of $2500.
