how can I write off my federral student loans?
I have been unemployed for several years, and I’m not able to pay off my loans. I heard you can get them written off.

I don’t know about getting them written off but you can ask for a forbearance b/c of financial hardship. You will still have to pay them but at a future date set up by the student loan ppl. Contact them ASAP! Don’t wait to long. Once they are put into default there will be nothing you can do. They will take your federal income taxes until the debt is paid in full and/or garnish any future job salaries.
