set up a payment plan that you can do and handle comfortably. Then when ever you can pay an extra payment or send an extra $50 or $100 a month.
once out then you have a 1 time shot to consolidate them into one loan. Look for great interest fixed rated times to do so. Now every loan that you currently have has a payment schedule. Say you have 4 loans that monthly would be $400 before consolidation. Mow after consolidation $250 per month. send them the $400 you were scheduled to pay and the extra goes to the principal every month and you will pay out much much faster
Pay more then the minimum
You need to set up a plan in which you will pay X aount 10 – 20 % more than the minimum requested that may mean getting a second job on the side. You have to be committed.
