US Mortgages for buying property in India?
Hello,
I own an apartment in India. Home loan from from Indian banks cost 10+ %. Do US lenders/financiers provide mortgage for Indian property? I am looking for interest rate similar to mortgages in USA 5-6 %.
I am in USA , waiting for green card and have excellent credit score/history.

No, they will not because they can not enforce US foreclosure laws in India if you decide to flake.
US rates don’t apply outside the US. Indian mortgages are not made or paid in US Dollars, and the enforcement regime is of course entirely different.
