How can I consolidate my two credit cards into one payment?

I have two credit cards and I owe $1500 on each. I would like to consolidate these two into one card.
Questions:
How do I do it?
I know I can do a balance transfer to another card but where do I go to get another card for this purpose?

I would like to go to a different card carrier. Both cards are at max

Why can’t you transfer balance of card b to card a? You do not need a third card.

Call the company of the credit card you are wanting to keep. Tell them that you are wanting to transfer the balance from another card onto your current one with them. They will ask you for information and they will call and do the final money transfer for you.

Agree with first poster, just pick whichever card has the lower interest rate and request a limit increase if you need to. Then transfer the higher interest balance to the lower. It can actually hurt your credit if you open a new card simply for that purpose.

Try to find the cheapest rate and fee first. (Better to use another card)

Ask your financial institiution to issuse a check or deposit to your bank for the total amount you want to transfer.

Then use the money pay off respectively.
