Hi, I recently applied for a teller position at Wells Fargo. I did the online web screening and passed then I did the phone interview and did alright. He said they will call in next couple days if something is available. Does that mean I didn’t pass? Do they usually call you after a phone inteview?
When ever they use a conditional or talk as if a position doesn’t exist its HR speak for you didn’t get the job
So if a company says they will call you in a couple of days ïf they are still interested” or”"if a position becomes available” then it usualy means they are not interested
When I applied for wells fargo while I was still on the phone with the person during the interview they set up the next interview on the phone
I never did the formal interview process with Wells, but speaking as a person thats done hiring (not with Wells), telling someone that “we’ll call you” isn’t usually great…but I could be wrong, cause like I said I didn’t do that whole internet, phone interview. But if you do get a one on one with the hiring panel, just be calm and confident. They aren’t expecting you to know everything about the banking world, just enthusiam towards customer service and hunger for knowledge.
