Malpractice insurance- How do I get appointed to sell it?

I live in the state of California I have life and health license. I have a few Dr friends who spend alot of $ on malpractice insurance. So I figure I get appointed and sell it to them. Does any one know which licenses are needed 2 sell it or recommend a brokerage that I can contact 2 get appointed.

You need a property/casualty license to sell malpractice – it’s a casualty line of business. You just need to find an agency that specializes in that line, and go work for them! Most agencies would be happy to hire you on a straight commission basis.

    P&C license
be smart and sell a package deal and not just 1 line of coverage. You make more money that way. Standard market will place most doctors w/o any losses or find yourself a good E&S broker who can place the problem clients for you.
