What form do I use if I received student loans?

I am currently in college, for the past 5 years I have not filed any papers for the student loans I received. Just recently I was told I could claim my student loans that I will need to pay back when I done with school. I don’t have any clue which form to use, I am currently using Efile.
I was sent a form from my school

no, loans are loans until you default and when they are claimed as canceled(a 1099 c) you will file them as income then
the amount you are able to claim on your income tax return is the interest you pay back each year and you are sent a 1098 for that each year
this is an interest you don’t have to include in your itemized deductions, a little benie for being a student

You (or your parents if you’re a dependent) can claim expenses paid WITH loans, but there’s noplace to claim the loans themselves.

The 1098-T from your school shows expenses that might be eligible expenses for an education credit.

When you start paying them back, you can probably deduct the interest.
