What kinds of insurances would be required of a teen club in IL?
me and my buddies are trying to open a teen dance club in our hometown we got our name,and specialty drinks, and how were going to advertise already figured out, and we think we have the place i just need to know wht insurances im going to need
thanks for ur help but i forgot a key part how would i obtain these things like a workers comp plus the palce were lookin at used to b a hollywood video but its vacant now
Besides the insurance you need for employees ( workmans comp) you will need liability insurance and possibly insurance on the building contents for fire, theft, vandalism, etc.. It is very difficult to make a profit on teens since you cannot sell alcoholic beverages that are high profit.
The only thing required by law, is workers comp, for the employees.
But you might need to have general liability, to rent the place. You might need property coverage, if you need to borrow money for equipment.
