Which insurances can I accept as a massage therapist? Are there any that cover massage for mental health?
Do I have to charge more if I accept insurance? How does this work?

You have to ask each insurance company if they will pay you. You have to ask them if they will cover issues of mental health. Most will not as far as I know.
You have to set your rates then according to what it will cost to bill for clients. You can’t just arbitrarily raise your rates. Saying things like it will take longer to get paid and that you do a different kind of massage or that you have to do chart notes is not reason enough to charge more. You can only charge for the hands on part of the massage.
You have to learn what codes you will use and what you need from doctors in their prescriptions. You have to know what the benefits of each policy/client are to find out if they will pay, how much, if there is a copay or coinsurance or if it is a car accident or work injury – you have to know what is also needed in each case.
You have to do chart notes and be prepared to write progress reports and other reports for doctors and insurance companies.
