Can I switch car insurances if my policy hasn’t ended?

I want to start looking into new car insurance, I’ve had no issues with mine in the past but it’s pretty expensive. My question is, do I have to wait until my policy runs out in order to change insurances to another company or can I get new insurance and end my old at anytime?

you can switch at any time, but a refund for the unused part of your current policy is NOT guaranteed. it’s up to the provider. maybe you are carrying coverage you don’t need – for example, if you drive a beater and have no lien, there is little reason to carry collision.

Yes! I recommend Allstate for this. They will even help you say goodbye to your old insurer! I like Allstate myself because the average driver saves hundreds with them. You can call Allstate for a free no obligation quote at their 24/7 toll free quote hotline at 1-888-871-5724. Good luck and happy motoring!
