difference between funeral insurance and burial insurance?

what is the difference between the 2 above insurances?
my parents are 60 & 67, they are interested in buying pre-planning, however that is too expensive per month. would insurance be cheaper and would it cover the funeral expense? anybody that can help explain would be greatly appreciated!
thanks!

burial will open and close the grave, casket…(maybe a liner, concrete) funeral ins will cover the embalming, casket, funeral service and the burial (all included for the ‘right’ price.)

None. They are both common terms for a small value, whole life insurance policy.

If prepaid funeral is too expensive, likely the low value whole life insurance will be, too.

If they went for a “guaranteed issue” (meaning, no medical exam, no qualifying), a $10,000 policy for each of them is probably going to cost around $50 a month, per person.
