Paypal’s pretty cheap. Google Checkout is another choice.

I understand your frustration. I used to use Paypal too until they froze my account for no reason for 180 days! I was so upset I sent letters to my attorney general. I left Paypal and got my own merchant account at nabsetup.com…. best choice I ever made. Not only is my account never frozen, they lowered my rates and now I save around $65 a month in fees alone.

Hey you can try using http://www.alertpay.com They work very well. They have a 5% transaction fee though. I am not exactly sure what paypals fees are compared to this. Sorry. Hope this helps, i use alertpay for all my needs.

You can get a merchant account through the bank you do business with.

Hate to tell you this, but PayPal’s fees are NOT exorbitant. You’ll pay 2.5% or higher with a brick-and-mortar merchant account too. Even higher if you accept AMEX…
