Im 13 years old…
and i wanna cash a 50$ check…

how would i do so with no ID..
I have a school ID.. would that work?

or do they need like a drivers license?

and when i do..
will i need to have parents with me?
or can i do it alone?

Your parents can sign under your name and cash it for you, this is easier if you go to your own bank or the bank that the check is wrote on.

    Where I live, no place will cash checks for a minor under 16, so a parent has to do it for them at the parent’s bank. And you’re not too young to have an ID. You can get one at any age. I think you’re confusing an ID with a driver’s license. They’re not the same thing.

    you can get a state ID at any age. they look like a drivers licensee but they have a different color code. they cost about $ 20 in NC. my little brother is 14 and he can cash his checks at our bank (he has his own account there) without his parents or his older brothers with him. the biggest reason is because he has a state ID. (another reason is that every one at our bank knows my family really well. my dad taught 1/2 of them their college math skills at the community college.)
