Tax refund questions…?

I recently checked on the status of my tax refund. It gave me a notice saying that a portion of my tax refund may have been used to pay “unpaid child support, federal non-tax, or student loans.”

I have a few court fines from our county court, would these be included in that? I’m about to buy a motorcycle, but if I’m not getting a tax refund, I’m going to skip the bike. Any input? Thanks.

I actually don’t owe that much. It’s stuff that I make monthy payments on and I pay more than what is required. I just didn’t know if they would take my rebate since I do still owe some.

It isn’t likely to be taken for those, but maybe you should pay them off anyway.
