Term insurance for $ 1m covering death only should be around US$ 800/year for your age for 30 years. Just out of curiosity, any idea what are you going to do when you are 57, that is when your insurance coverage expires and you need the coverage more than before? please consider other events like disability and critical illnesses like cancers. I think it is easy to die but more difficult when I don’t die but can’t work and have to pay high medical fees.
