I have a pit bull mix and and i was looking into getting her pet insurance in order to possibly move into an apartment…does pet insurance cover if my dog was to bit another person and they would need medical care? And how much does it cost?

I’ve never heard that.. as far as I know pet insurance is like health insurance for your pet.. it doesn’t cover you against civil liabilities related to your animal harming someone… that’s more covered under property and perhaps renters insurance.

Nope, that’s personal liability insurance – built into renters insurance coverage. However, I don’t know of any insurance companies that will issue a policy to someone who owns a pit bull mix.
Pet insurance, is like health insurance for pets. It reimburses some of your vet bills, if the dog has an accident or gets ill.
