I can’t find anyone else to go and I can’t afford to lose $ 3,000! Really need advice here.
One more detail: I did buy cancel for any reason but I will lose 25% of $ 3000, which is a lot of money.((

You do not get back your money. You lose the money even if you cannot afford to lose it.

You can’t.
Talk to your travel agent, see if someone wants to buy you out at the last minute.
You should have bought a ‘cancel for any reason’ plan which is why you don’t buy insurance from a travel agent. AND, you also don’t call me (or another insurance agent) to book cruises.
Why do you lose your money. Why don’t you just go on the trip? The other person would just be out the money.
