Mine was covered under my homeowners/renters policy. But if you do not have homeowners or renters insurance, I recommend you contact an insurance agent.

Most jewelers have insurance carriers just for insuring jewelry. You may check with the jeweler where you purchased the ring.
If you have homeowners, that is probably the best. Otherwise, there are companies that will insure the ring on its own.
Remember to insure it for the appraisal value, not the purchase price (which was probably less).
