my payments are auto debited and I’ve never missed a payment, but let me go in and ask for a little bit more money & I get a letcher

He’s a jerk. Banks make money by lending money and you can find plenty of loan officers who treat you like a valued customer.

Do a refinance with another lender and close out your account. Then write a letter of complaint to the banks VP of consumer lending and just rip the MF’er.
